Local distributors to serve small and medium-sized batches, United States Airgas and other special gas companies to supply 200kg cylinder EO, unit price 8.2/kg (including sterilization verification report), but annual purchase of less than 5 tons of logistics costs accounted for 233.2/kg. Showa Denko’s PMDA-certified medical grade EO supplies an average 50 tons/month at a 6 percent discount rate, pushing the ethylene oxide price to $2,890/ton, a 9 percent decrease from the spot market.
